A few hours shown in a minute, a bit of the handmade process.
I really enjoy making these hats, they fit a 22-23” head great. They fit my own head perfectly and are the only hats I wear. If you want a custom fit, hit me up!

The Corduroy Highline Pants. These are what starte

The Corduroy Highline Pants. These are what started it all. Finding that perfect pair of baggy pants at the thrift store would take me forever. And I would proceed to rip them up slacklining. When I started sewing, pants were at the top of my wish list. Years later and 100s of hours of work, I can consistently make myself a durable and stylish pair of pants.

I have had a hiatus from sharing my work, but the work hasn’t stopped. Stay tuned for more.

It has been a pleasure learning how to make winter gear. For myself and for others.
It has been a great season, filled with many laps with many dawgs. It’s not over yet.
But spring is here and it is already time to make Slackline clothes once again.

2nd gen homemade ski pants. Not much is better tha

2nd gen homemade ski pants.
Not much is better than cut, sew, and ski.
I didn’t love everything about the 1st pants. I had to make another pair. More adjustments will be made in the future.
4 pockets, with storm flaps. 2 vents with storm flaps. Made from 3L ultrex and 3L storm fit DWR fabric. Unfinished seams. More specs available if you’re interested.

I spent a day drafting the pattern, and a few more days cutting and sewing. And then I get to ski :)
Three pockets, two vents. Made from 3L and 2L DWR fabric. More specs will come when I share some photos.

Materials:
3-ply WPB storm fit fabric.
35% wool - polyester blend.
Premium fleece liner.
1000D Cordura cuffs.

There is elastic around the bottom of the wrist and a cinch ladder lock for the top of the wrist.
Slide 9 shows a bit more of the fabric layering.

I finally ordered some more waterproof fabric, and I am stoked to keep working with these materials.

More mitts will be coming soon.

I’ve been making mittens. They feel real nice on y

I’ve been making mittens. They feel real nice on your hands. Medium - large fit.
The shell is 3L waterproof fabric from the @gearfixbend and the liner is Eddie Bauer premium fleece from Joann’s.
There is elastic around the bottom of the wrist and a ladder lock cinch for the top of your wrist to ensure a tight fit. These are modeled to fit my hand. My hand dimensions are shown in the last slide.

There are 3 different styles shown here.
1-3: Simple style with 3L outer and fleece liner.
4: Insulated, with wool, Boxy fit. Shell: 3L - wool blend - 3L — fleece liner (this style needs some work but it's getting there).
5-6: Boxy fit, there is an extra panel around thumb and hand. 3L outer and fleece liner.

I have been skiing in an insulated pair (prototype) for 20ish days on hill. They have been performing great in all forms of weather.

I am still working out the kinks, so theoretically these will be less expensive than mitts in the future. I have been enjoying the process of prototyping and creating a functional piece.

When you’ve been rigging all day with the crew, the storm hits, then passes, becoming an outstanding sunset. It’s time to sesh. I’m tired, the line feels different, but the sunset is banging, the friends are stoking, and @osphere.av is behind the lense. It’s time to rage.
Highlining is a fully involved activity, I love the places it brings me and the people it brings me towards. This day was an exclamation point on that.

I lost to Fern, but I couldn’t be more stoked.
It was a dreamy week of highlining with many inspirations, at the most classic highline gathering. I have endless gratitude for this last week. The gathering, the competition, the judges, the riggers, the volunteers, the artists, and all the lovely humans I get to call my friends.

It was a pleasure having freestylers from all over come to our home spot. We had five primo freestyle lines. All with bungees, rigged with frames. They were all a little different and they were all amazing.
Thank you to the riggers who came early to rig with gear and stoke. Thank you to all the homies who showed up with stoke to sesh. The after open spanset line was a treat. See you at the next one 😈
